Ethnohydrology
Research Assistant, School of Human Evolution and Social Change, 2010, Class Activity, Arizona State University. An interdisciplinary multi-site study that examines the range of variation in local ecological knowledge of water issues, also known as "ethnohydrology".
- Collected ethnographic survey data on water perception in New Zealand and Fiji
- Gained perception of water knowledge in varying socioeconomic status.
Obesogenic Environments
Research Assistant, School of human Evolution and Social Change, 2010, Class Activity, Arizona State University. Studied the features of built environments to determine how they could contribute to different rates of obesity.
- Acquired geographical skills, using city maps to construct sample size of neighborhoods.

Stigma and Health
Research Assistant, School of Human Evolution and Social Change, 2011, Class Activity, Arizona State University. Collaborated in team-based research in order to examine the effects of neighborhood stigma on health.
- Used qualitative and quantitative methods to gather data including freeālisting and administering structured surveys
- Carried out literature searches and compiled annotated bibliography. Gathered, input and analyzed data, interpreted results and orally presented findings.
